The Tulsa Bomb Squad came out after the man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. A man came into the bank and told a teller he would detonate a bomb unless they handed over money. Owasso Police learned Auten was attending a church baptism service, and the deputy helped them "lure" Auten into the parking lot where he reportedly agreed to a search of his home and vehicle, the report states.ĭuring questioning, police say Auten admitted to the crime and showed police the clothes, duffle bag and other items used in the robbery. A tip from a Tulsa County Sheriff's Deputy helped authorities learn his identity, according to an arrest report.
